Why students choose Widad

Recognised qualifications

Almost every programme carries full accreditation from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency. The MBBS is recognised by the Malaysian Medical Council and listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools, and the nursing, medical assistant and pharmacy diplomas are registered with their professional boards.

Fees you can plan for

Tuition at Widad is among the most affordable in the country, and for selected programmes the fees already include examination and laboratory charges. Registration is free for new students, subject to terms, and hostel accommodation and campus transport are provided.

One city for study and training

The campus sits in Bandar Indera Mahkota, Kuantan, and medical, nursing and health sciences students do their pre-clinical and clinical training here too. No moving between cities halfway through a programme.

Graduates who get hired

93.9% of Widad graduates are in work, in government and private hospitals, schools, banks and companies in Malaysia and abroad. Widad Business Group, the parent company, also opens job opportunities to graduates.
